Erasmus+ Project: 360° WEE – Women’s Entrepreneurship for Empowerment

360° WEE is an Erasmus+ project co-funded by the European Union and implemented by GMD and Verein INMOS, dedicated to promoting female entrepreneurship, especially for women at risk of discrimination or from marginalized backgrounds.

Our goal is to reduce the gender gap in employment in Malta and Austria by supporting aspiring women entrepreneurs in developing their potential and enhancing the value of female-led businesses in society.

The 360° WEE Training Programme

From 15 to 18 May 2025, the project engaged a selected group of participants in an intensive training programme in Malta, delivered in both in-person and hybrid formats.

What we achieved:

  • Development of soft skills (self-confidence, global mindset)
  • Enhancement of technical skills (marketing, innovation, business strategy)
  • Meetings with female role models, business angels, and investors
  • Pitch sessions with personalized feedback

Participants
✔ Women aged 19+
✔ Resident in Malta or Austria
✔ Motivated to start a business, develop entrepreneurial skills, or strengthen an existing project

Participation was free of charge, and the project represented a real opportunity for growth, connection, and inspiration for all involved.

What’s more

Meetings with role models: As part of the 360 WEE project, we are connecting our participants with inspiring female role models who share their experience and entrepreneurial journey.  These meetings are designed to empower and motivate our trainees while building bridges with business institutions and investors.
The first sessions took place on June 4th with Natascha Zmerzlikar, followed by Iris Einoeder on September 3rd and Rozina Sidhu Koskela on September 9th and a panel discussion on September 19th with Lorraine Sultana, Dana Carmont, and Barbara Lipovšek.
Meetings with business institutions and investors: As part of the 360 WEE project, our participants are engaging directly with business institutions and investors to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and explore real opportunities.
The first meetings took place in May during the training course in Malta, featuring representatives from Business First, Crowe – Tax Consulting, KWF (Carinthian Promotion Funds), and the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT). In June, the women also met with investor and entrepreneur Natascha Zmerzlikar, as well as Juergen Kopeinig from the Carinthian Venture Fonds and on September 16th, we’ll meet Giselle Borg Olivier, investor and manager of Malta’s crowdfunding platform ZAAR.
These encounters provide valuable insights into funding, business development, and innovation — all essential preparation for the final pitching sessions later in the project.
